Becoming an attorney wasn’t exactly my destiny.  In the early years of my life it was just my mother, younger sister and I. My mother worked multiple jobs while she attended court reporting school and we struggled to make ends meet.

At the time, we moved around quite a bit and eventually found ourselves relocating from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma. I grew up in a small town in Creek County where attending college after high school, much less law school, was fairly uncommon.

After graduating high school in 2014, I decided to attend college at Roger’s State University. Despite receiving a scholarship, I found the financial burdens of pursuing a college degree very challenging and nearly decided to drop out after my first semester. Instead of giving up, I doubled down and for the remaining three years of college I worked multiple jobs while attending as a full time student.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Administration and Minor in Sociology in 2018. While pursuing these two fields of study I developed a passion for advocating for others, which seeded my desire to become an attorney.

After college, I was accepted into Washburn University School of Law. Although it was extremely challenging, I really enjoyed my time there. While attending as a full time student, I also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Shawnee County Courthouse in the state capital.

Working with the Judges of Shawnee County provided me with a unique legal perspective, as I was responsible not only for conducting legal research on various issues, but also assisting in making key decisions and drafting those decisions regarding both criminal and civil matters.

I graduated from Washburn with Honors in 2021 and moved back to Oklahoma to take the Uniform Bar Exam. I received a passing score for all 36 States on the Uniform Bar and was licensed in Oklahoma shortly after in 2021.

I started at the firm as an associate attorney in fall of 2021. I’ve truly enjoyed assisting our clients with their personal injury and social security disability needs. I do not take the issues our clients face lightly, and coming from someone who worked tremendously hard and did whatever it took to achieve my goals, our clients can expect that I do the same when it comes to assisting them in achieving theirs.
