In Oklahoma, I’m known as the Heavy Hitter®. People see my commercials, and they know what my work is all about. What they may not realize, though, is that I don’t come from a family of big-time lawyers or money. In fact, I don’t come from a family of either one.
I was raised by two hardworking parents, parents who taught their seven children (I was number five) to understand the value of hard work. They didn’t just talk about it, they led by example.
My dad managed a gas station for most of my younger years, and when I was old enough, I worked for him there. Back then, we pumped the gas, checked the oil, and cleaned the windshields for our customers. I think I was paid about $2.75 an hour.
My dad sometimes worked two jobs. As for my mom, she worked all of my life. Five days a week. Eight hours a day. And she still came home and cooked, cleaned, and washed clothes for nine people. She was amazing. And get this, she didn’t retire until she was eighty-three. Both of my parents are gone now. I sure do miss ’em.
My path to becoming a personal injury attorney began a bit later than most. I started college at age 28 at Tulsa Junior College before earning a scholarship to the University of Tulsa, where I completed my Business Degree. From there, I earned my Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Tulsa College of Law, graduating in 1992.
With over three decades of legal experience, I have dedicated my career to navigating complex injury claims and fighting for the rights of accident victims.
From the moment I chose to practice law, my mantra has been simple: “Stand up for the little guy.”
In personal injury law, every client who walks through our doors is an underdog compared to the powerful insurance companies and massive corporations we go up against. No matter how formidable or well-funded the opponent, I am never intimidated, and I never back down.
While others in the legal field might prioritize the most lucrative path, my practice has always been, and will always be, about helping people put their lives back together.
Our firm is built on a straightforward principle: if someone wrongs you and refuses to make it right, I get involved. I view my legal credentials as a tool to demand justice for our clients, frankly, I have a license to sue, and I am not afraid to use it to protect your rights.
We provide aggressive legal representation across a wide range of personal injury matters, including:
